Let’s take a short look at my concept.
“Gwent: Season of Storms” is an expansion pack for the game. I remember there is one race of creatures called “vodyanoi” from the Witcher books by Sapkowski. At the moment they have not been paid enough attention to. They are fishpeople, folk of the underwater city Ys, a cultivated underwater civilization that makes them different from Monsters faction. A. Sapkowski wrote the story A Little Sacrifice (or A Little Dedication) about their confrontation with humans and there is a strong hint that the war will begin soon.
So, there is a possibility to expand Gwent cards with such characters from the Witcher Universe, as Vodyanoi priest, Zeugl, Kraken, Leech and some more. The leaders could be Sh'eenaz (a siren who was in love with Agloval in the story), Agloval (a human king), Lady of the Lake and Dagon who is a part of the old underwater civilization too. As a new effect in a row, there could be a whirlpool.
Here are some sketches for trailers and video with descriptions for new cards. I also created a draft for the logo forthis expansion and the card back to show you how it might look.
