As a student of the Visual Culture program (Cinema, TV and the Internet) together with other students we often made short films in which I was a director, scriptwriter, editor and sometimes an actor. Later it allowed me to take part in serious shootings of Belarusian and Italian filmmakers, as well as to have internships, cooperate and consult with such directors as:

  • Alain Fleischer is a French director, scenarist, writer and artist, director of the art school “Le Fresnoy”;

  • Fabio Bonifacci is an Italian scenarist, writer and director, makes films with Warner Brothers;

  • Paolo Angelini is an Italian screenwriter and director, teaches at “DAMS” (Bologna);

  • Andrei Kureichik is a Belarusian film director and screenwriter, the author of numerous Belarusian and Russian films including "Above the Sky", "Going Vertical", etc.;

  • Alessandro Rossi is an Italian screenwriter and director, the founder of his own company “MAMMUT Film”;

  • Arturas Bukauskas is a Lithuanian art film director, screenwriter and an artist.

    Below there are a few artistic examples made during the student period. Unfortunately, due to the work on TV, further shooting is now stopped. Instead, I try to translate the language of cinema into a TV-language.

    "Party-zan film" is a film by “Bez Buslou Arts” directed by Andrei Kureichik. In the film, I had an episodic role of the member of a casting company. Also, during the filming I actively interacted with actors, building common scenes and staging the play.

    "Clara" is a trailer for an Italian film under the same name by the director Francesco Longo with the companies “Moonlight Legacy Productions”, “Urca TV” and “Sette Films”. In this project, I was an actor and a consultant on acting. Also, I helped with set-up cameras.Unfortunately, because of the end of the internship in Italy, I did not manage to act in the whole film.

    "Child of Autumn" is a short film in the genre of fiction. In this film I performed as a director, screenwriter, actor and editor. The film was highly appreciated at student festivals, receiving several awards in the categories "Feature Films" and "Best Soundtrack". Alexander Kullinkovich, the leader of the Belarusian rock band "Neuro Dubel" performs in the episodic role. The film was also warmly accepted at student film festivals SmolCon in 2018 and awarded in "Best sound directing"(Saint Petersburg, Russia).

    "The Witcher" is one of the student works in the genre of fantasy based on the books by A. Sapkowski. In this film, I was a director, screenwriter, editor and actor, playing the role of the bard Dandelion.

    "If only it was not too late" - another student short film, made in the first years of training (inspired on the films "Brother" and "Brother 2" of Aleksei Balabanov). In this film I performed as a director, screenwriter, actor and editor. The film was also warmly accepted at student film festivals.
